Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 14, 2026
Tiny Psalms is a bedtime prayer and Bible-inspired story app for families. This Privacy Policy explains what information Tiny Psalms ("Tiny Psalms", "we", "us", or "our") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can request access, correction, or deletion of your information.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to the Tiny Psalms mobile app for iOS and Android and the related backend services that support sign-in, story generation, subscriptions, generated audio, saved stories, support, and account deletion requests.
Tiny Psalms is intended to be used by parents and guardians with their children. Parents and guardians are responsible for creating accounts, entering child profile information, and deciding what optional context to provide.

Information We Do Not Collect
- Photos or videos of children.
- Voice recordings from your device microphone.
- Precise location, contacts, calendar, camera, or microphone data.
- Advertising IDs for targeted advertising.
- Data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
- Third-party analytics events for advertising profiling.
- School names, medical details, or detailed emotional tracking, unless you voluntarily type such information into an optional parent note.
3. AI Story and Audio Processing
Tiny Psalms uses AI service providers to provide core app features. When you generate a story, we may send the child nickname, age range or age number, selected bedtime need, optional parent context, and related prompt instructions to OpenAI through our secure Firebase Cloud Functions backend. We use this information only to create the requested Bible-inspired bedtime story and prayer.
When audio narration is generated, we may send the generated story and prayer text to xAI's text-to-speech service to create an MP3 narration file. The resulting audio file is stored in Firebase Storage under your account so it can be played in the app.
Please do not enter highly sensitive information in optional parent notes. Tiny Psalms is not a medical, mental-health, legal, or emergency service, and generated content is not professional advice.
4. How We Use Information
- Provide sign-in, account security, and account recovery.
- Create and personalize age-appropriate bedtime prayers and stories.
- Save generated stories, generated audio, favorites, and library items.
- Manage subscriptions, purchases, entitlements, and restore purchases.
- Schedule local bedtime reminders when you enable them.
- Respond to support, access, correction, and deletion requests.
- Maintain app security, prevent abuse or fraud, debug errors, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
5. Third-Party Service Providers

We may also disclose information if required to comply with law, enforce our rights, protect users, respond to legal requests, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate notice.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. These include HTTPS connections, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Security Rules, server-side API keys and secrets, access-limited backend services, and service providers that offer encryption in transit and at rest.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact us at dreamprayer.dev@gmail.com.
7. Retention and Deletion
We retain account information, child profile information, generated stories, generated audio, subscription status, and related app data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Tiny Psalms. Local reminder preferences remain on your device until you change them, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
If you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify your Tiny Psalms account data, including your Firebase account, child profile, story library, generated story text, generated audio files, favorites, and app-specific subscription association, within 30 days unless we must retain limited information for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or regulatory reasons.
Third-party providers may keep limited records under their own legal, security, abuse-prevention, or transaction-retention obligations. For example, Apple, Google, and RevenueCat may retain purchase records, and AI providers may retain short-term safety or abuse-monitoring logs under their policies.
To request deletion, visit our Account and Data Deletion page or email dreamprayer.dev@gmail.com with the subject "Tiny Psalms account deletion".
8. Your Choices and Rights
- You can update child nickname and age range in the app where profile editing is available.
- You can choose whether to provide optional parent context for a generated story.
- You can enable, disable, or adjust local bedtime reminders in the app and through device notification settings.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
- You can request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing us.
Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights such as the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children's Privacy
Tiny Psalms is a family app intended for parents and guardians to use with children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without parent or guardian involvement. The app is designed to avoid child photos, voice recordings, precise location, contacts, camera data, and microphone data.
Parents and guardians should use a nickname rather than a full legal name if they prefer. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate parent or guardian consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. International Transfers
Tiny Psalms and our service providers may process information in the United States, Australia, and other countries where we or our providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws different from those in your country of residence.
11. App Store and Play Store Privacy Disclosures
We aim for this Policy to match the privacy details provided in App Store Connect and the Google Play Console Data safety section. Because store disclosures are summaries, this Policy may include additional operational detail. If the app changes, we will update this Policy and the applicable store disclosures as needed.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, service providers, legal requirements, or our data practices. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when this Policy was last revised.
