HueMe ("App", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our App. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Privacy Policy means that you accept and agree to the changes.
We collect and process only the minimum data needed to operate HueMe. The main categories are: (1) account information for login and security, and (2) your profile photo to provide color analysis and virtual try-on features.
When you use HueMe, you upload a profile photo to enable color analysis and virtual try-on features (hair colors, makeup, clothing). This profile photo is:
HueMe uses third-party AI processing to perform color analysis and generate results such as your seasonal palette and recommended colors. Your profile photo may be transmitted to Google Nano Banana Pro (and related Google AI processing services) strictly to provide the feature you request.
HueMe collects the photo only when you choose to upload or capture an image in the app. The photo is not accessed from your device unless you initiate the upload.
When you tap to run color analysis or try-on features, HueMe may securely transmit:
We do not send your email address, account password, contacts, precise location, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers to the AI processor as part of the image analysis request.
The transmitted data is used only to generate the requested output (e.g., seasonal palette and virtual try-on rendering). It is not used by HueMe for advertising or tracking, and it is not intentionally sent for any unrelated purpose.
The image is processed and then disposed of as part of completing the request. HueMe does not instruct the AI processor to retain your image beyond what is necessary to fulfill the processing request.
Before your photo is sent to any third-party AI service for processing, HueMe presents an in-app disclosure explaining what data will be shared, with whom, and for what purpose. You must explicitly consent before the upload/processing occurs.
You can withdraw consent by not using the feature, disabling related functionality where available, or deleting your account.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
HueMe uses Google Nano Banana Pro (and related Google AI processing services) to process your uploaded photo when you request color analysis or virtual try-on features. This processing is performed to generate your requested results and is not used by HueMe for advertising or tracking.
We require that third-party processors handle the data in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law, and that they provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy.
Firebase is our backend service provider used for authentication and secure storage (including storing your profile photo for reuse in the app). Your data is processed according to Google's privacy policies and Firebase's security standards.
Apple App Store and Google Play Store may collect metadata about your downloads and usage, subject to their respective privacy policies.

You may withdraw your consent for data processing at any time by not using photo-based features, disabling related functionality where available, or deleting your account. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
HueMe does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or similar technologies for analytics or advertising purposes. We use secure session tokens only for authentication and account security.
HueMe is not intended for users under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete such information promptly.
Your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your home country. By using HueMe, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may provide different levels of data protection.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion or at your request, your data will be securely deleted within 30 days, except where required by law to retain records.

Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Privacy Policy means that you accept and agree to the changes.

This Privacy Policy is written to align with Apple’s expectations that a privacy policy identifies the data an app collects, how it collects that data, and all uses of that data; explains retention/deletion and how to revoke consent; and confirms that third parties receiving user data provide equal protection.
This Privacy Policy also aims to meet Google Play requirements for disclosing data collection, data use, third-party sharing, and user controls.
