Bible Study Journal - By The Water ("the App") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

The following data is linked to your identity: email address, in-app generated content, and subscription status. Usage analytics collected for app improvement is not linked to your personal identity.
Your data is securely stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication). We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure.
Firebase may collect device identifiers, crash logs, and analytics data as part of service delivery and security. Please refer to Google Firebase’s privacy guidelines for further details.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is only used within the app to provide and improve your experience.
We do not share your personal data with third-party AI providers or use your data for automated model training. Should this change, we will notify you and ask for your explicit consent before any such data sharing occurs.
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide app functionality, fulfill legal requirements, or until you request deletion. After account deletion, your data is permanently removed from our systems, usually within 30 days.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the app by selecting “Delete My Account” in the Settings section. This will permanently remove your account and data from Firebase.
By The Water is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
We ask users to confirm their age before creating an account. Parental controls and age verification comply with Apple’s guidelines for apps accessible by children.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
